Swindon Advanced Motorists
Swindon Advanced Motorists (SAM) provides driver training skills focused on the development of advanced roadcraft skills in preparation for the Advanced Driver test. As an affiliate of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM RoadSmart), the group maintains an active membership community with social events that promote safer, responsible motoring. Since 1970, SAM has mentored drivers from all backgrounds, helping them become more skilled, confident, and safer on the road.

Our skilled volunteers provide tailored guidance to drivers aiming to pass the IAMRS Advanced Driving testassessments. We foster safer driving practices through regular drives with key aspcts and topics to master along with group support to help you on your way to becoming a skilled motorist.

Advanced Driving ongoing development
Further enhancing your advanced motoring skills and roadcraft mastery don't have to end once you have achieved Advanced Driver status. The group holds regular meetings and events, all to further enhance the skills of every signed up group member. Everyone has something to contribute, and you may wish to consider training to become an Observer too.
